Cracking the Lion Statue Combination

The first major roadblock players can easily solve is located right on the second floor of the Main Hall. By approaching the prominent Lion Statue, survivors can interact with a dial system that requires three specific symbols to unlock. The standard solution can be retrieved from an officer notebook found early in the campaign.

For the initial playthrough, aligning the symbols for the lion, a leafy branch, and a soaring bird will immediately release the prize. However, players tackling the more difficult Second Story mode must adapt to altered codes to claim their reward. In the alternative scenario, the required sequence shifts to a crown, a flaming torch, and a flying bird to unlock the mechanism.

Navigating the Unicorn Statue Riddle

Finding the second key component requires a brief trek to the Lounge on the second floor of the police station, situated just next to the Library. The Unicorn Statue stands quietly in this room, blocking access to another vital quest item until the proper gears align. This puzzle utilizes similar mechanics but features completely different imagery.

During a standard run, players need to turn the dials to display a twin fish design, a scorpion, and a large jug of pouring water. If you are running the alternative B campaign, these standard symbols will no longer function properly. Instead, you must input the children holding hands, a scale, and a coiled snake to successfully pop open the compartment.

Unlocking the Elusive Maiden Statue

The final and most heavily guarded medallion resides deep within the West Storage Room on the third floor of the facility. Reaching this location requires a detonator tool to blow open a barricade, revealing the Maiden Statue trapped behind iron bars. This puzzle is notoriously tricky due to the weathered condition of the statue dial faces.

For the standard A scenario, inputting the head of a woman, a bow and arrow, and a crawling snake will yield the final medallion. If you find yourself stuck on the alternative layout, shifting the inputs to a goat, a harp, and a bird will bypass the lock. Once collected, taking all three items back to the Goddess Statue opens the path forward into the unknown.
